AK is a powerful new voice on the New York music scene. Formerly a trained opera singer and a traditional folk singer, AK found her own voice writing about her life on the east coast. Removed from her native California she discovered a love of seasons, deep wonder at the power of winter, wind and rain and the new bonds that form during hurricanes and floods.
